Ideally you should have a first class academic record backed up by some industrial experience, prizes and awards and or an impressive design portfolio covering concept generation, mechanism design, materials selection and analysis, dynamics analysis using specialist applications such as ANSYS and last but not least design models for high and low volume manufacturing using 3D CAD, rapid prototyping, Solidworks etc…

You will be involved in all stages of life cycle projects from early concept to market delivery, you will be able to take ownership over large scale projects working with clients across many different industry sectors through consumer goods to specialist instruments sensors and devices. You do need to have a passion for new technology and development but there will never be a dull moment at this technologically advanced product design and development consultancy.
